Is Education Burdon!
Is Education
Burdon!
Is Education a Burdon?
A major problem these days is the increasing difficulties
faced by parents due to the arbitrary increase in fees by private schools. Even
the rulers seem helpless in the face of the whims of these private schools.
Although the federal and provincial governments have ordered school owners not
to make any additions in fees, but most school owners are ignoring this order.
Thus, it seems impossible for parents to send their children to good schools۔But despite this serious problem; we want to talk about
the burden on the shoulders of children Who often
come to their bags in the form of unnecessary books and copies to test the
power of their back.
What do the Children learn in Schools?
It is true that school is the place where the child
learns the way of life, where he develops a sense of good and evil. But it is
also true that nowadays schools put a lot of pressure on children. Most of the
children going to school can be seen carrying big bags on their shoulders, in
which their books and copies are placed.
Whether the child is in the first grade or the tenth
grade, everyone is in the same situation. Everyone is burdened with books,
copies and reading notes. Today every child and especially their parents want the child
to come first and no one is ready to come second. Everyone talks about good
marks and grades. There is talk of curriculum but no one thinks what should
be done to impart education to the students in a good and reasonable way.
Children want to get maximum marks. And parents
are two steps ahead of them. They want their children to top school and make a
name for themselves and for that purpose they spend thousands of rupees.
Childhood is a period where the child's physical and
mental development takes place
All of this has created a sense of competition in
children as well. Sometimes they work harder than they need to prove
themselves. But in this way we cannot create a real winner, but we
are creating a generation that is afraid of its own defeat. And a person who is
afraid can never be a winner. Therefore, through this competition, we are only
increasing the pressure on our children. Childhood is a period where the
child's physical and mental development takes place. And from here, their
future is laid. And what would be their future if they were put under so
much pressure at that point? Think for yourself. At this time children have so
much study and homework that they have no time to do anything else. We also do
not say that the school is making a mistake by doing so. Because they are also
under pressure from the board to finish the course on time but they are also
concerned about the reputation of their school. And the result
is that children get overwhelmed. All of these things sometimes have a negative
effect on them. And they get so busy studying that they forget other important
things in life. For example, reading sports information and other important
books and newspapers which are sources of information. This
problem is exacerbated if the couple is employed. Many mothers forget their
timetables and calendars because of their busy schedules. As a result, the
children have to carry all the books on their back. Some schools
also allege that parents are often negligent in this regard. The children bring
all the books, many of which are not needed at all.
Do the heavy bags affect the physical and mental health
of the children?
Some schools have lockers, but this does not help
parents.
Employed
parents say that we can see a copy of homework only once a week. Therefore, we
cannot see the progress of the child. And our child does not even understand
which book or copy to leave in school and which to take home? Parents should
pay attention to the child. Parents should pay attention to the child. They
should keep checking their bags and put as many books as they need in their
bags. Besides, the government should also pay attention to this because this
problem is now spreading very fast. And the victims of this are the future of
our country and nation. The burden of books on them should be reduced as it
will reduce the burden of reading on them.
And the
child will be able to give time to his other activities as well, which will
help them to develop fully. We should give our generation an education that
will teach them to move forward in life.
But this is
not happening. We are giving them an environment where both their childhood and
youth are suffering. The news of student suicides in the coming days is a clear
proof of how much pressure is being put on them. Some practical steps can be
taken to reduce stress on children, such as reducing their homework by telling
them to try to concentrate on what they have to read instead of memorizing it.
First of all, we have to be determined to reduce the burden on the
incapacitated shoulders of children.
Every time
the results of the exams come out, there are reports in the newspapers that the
student has committed suicide due to reprimand for getting low marks. Parents
should think about how to deal with children when they get low marks. It is
emotional, so it is not appropriate to put too much pressure on it. We have found another problem of schools that in
collaboration with certain institutions and vendors they impose unnecessary
books and copies on children just for the sake of earning money. At a young age
this heavy bag affects not only the physical but also the mental health of the
children it also sometimes become impossible for young children to carry their
bags from the school gate to the classroom. Unfortunately, in our country, the emphasis is not given on
quality of education but it is given on the quantity. And today educators around
the world agree that the situation of education is better in countries that
prefer quality over quantity.
In some
countries, there are schools where children do not go home with bags because at
a certain time, after doing homework in school, children are sent home without
bags. And from there they come back to school in the morning. Extra time is
definitely allocated for this purpose.
If this is possible in some countries then why this system cannot be brought to
us so that children can come home and focus on other constructive activities as
well. And the dream of training could be embarrassingly interpreted.
